250 sqm Solid Textile Board

Circularity in-store

Solid Textile Board by Really is integrated throughout the Helly Hansen flagship store in Oslo, Norway. Designed by Snøhetta architects to express the company’s brand, the retail space opened in 2018 and spans two connected levels.

The Solid Textile Board is cut into custom interlocking panels in diverse geometries. One of the main materials at the store, it is used to create a variety of clothing, footwear and promotional displays, as well as cupboards and plinths.

Pre-cut and varnished in white by Boye Inventar then mounted by Tre Verkstedet AS, the Solid Textile Board creates an elegant contrast with the outdoor apparel on display. Furthermore, from a functional perspective, it meets the demand for a material that can handle demanding loads.

Made from recycled textiles, the Solid Textile Board is crafted according to Helly Hansen’s brand guidelines and reflects the company’s values. Notably, the commitment to support, protect and promote ethical practices and the environment.

'We found the Solid Textile Board panels very relevant in the context of the modern-day retail store. Using them was especially appropriate considering Helly Hansen’s links to the textile industry'
